A collection of album cover designs – ongoing
Of the many design challenges I've tackled, illustrating and designing artwork and packaging for music is definitely one of most rewarding and enjoyable creative processes. Much of the inspiration behind my work is derived from music, so the invitation to collaborate with artists in another creative field, and develop a visual experience that compliments and enhances their own art form is always a welcome opportunity.
MIKE | The cover for a birthday-mega-mix I arranged for my buddy, and fellow designer Mike.
EQUAL PARTS | A preliminary design for Duo 220, a classical guitar duo whose upcoming album is to be entitled Equal Parts.
A SOUNDTRACK FOR REFUSAL | This cover (and packaging) was designed for a compilation album to benefit the Civilian Soldier Alliance – a non-profit striving to build a resistance movement towards a just foreign policy.
MONDAY MUSIC SURPRISE | The cover art for the Top Ten Monday Music Surprise tracks of 2010. Monday Music Surprise is a weekly music email list comprised of friends with whom I share the top 2-5 music tracks I discover each week. Check out the mix on 8tracks.
